GambleCount
Privacy Policy
GambleCount is a local self-tracking app for people who want to record gambling-free progress, savings, moods, goals, and personal reflections. This policy explains how data works in the local MVP.
GambleCount is not an emergency, medical, therapy, legal, or financial advice service. If you are in immediate danger or may harm yourself or someone else, contact local emergency services now.
Who operates GambleCount
GambleCount is operated by Next Era Solutions. For privacy or support questions, contact support@nexterasolutions.space.
Data stored on your device
The current GambleCount MVP does not require an account, does not use Firebase Authentication, and does not send core app data to a GambleCount backend. The app stores the following information locally on your device:
- Self-reported gambling recovery information, including goals, milestones, streak/progress values, time saved, money saved, currency, country, language, gender, year of birth, and reasons you choose to provide.
- Logbook content, including free-form text, selected mood/emotion, and date of occurrence.
- App settings and interaction data needed to show questions, progress, statistics, and logbook screens.
Support messages you choose to send by email are handled outside the app and may include whatever information you decide to provide.
How we use data
GambleCount uses data for:
- App functionality, including onboarding, progress tracking, logbook, statistics, and settings.
- Product personalization, such as showing goals, milestones, currency, language, and progress relevant to your local profile.
- Customer support when you contact us directly.
GambleCount does not sell personal data. GambleCount does not use your app data for third-party advertising tracking.
Service providers
The current local MVP does not use a backend, Firebase Authentication, or Firebase App Check for core app data. Public legal pages and email support may open your browser, email app, or other external services.
Data sharing
Because core app data stays on your device, GambleCount does not receive it and does not share it with data brokers or advertising networks. If you contact support, we may use the information you send to answer your request and handle legal or safety obligations.
Local data deletion and data requests
You can delete local GambleCount data in the app from Settings > Local Data > Delete Local Data. This removes data stored by the app on that device. The app does not provide cloud backup or cloud restore.
For privacy questions, email support@nexterasolutions.space. We may need to verify a support request before acting on it.
Retention
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, uninstall the app, or the operating system removes it. Support emails may be retained as needed to answer requests, comply with law, or handle disputes.
Children
GambleCount is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the app if you are not old enough to consent to the processing of your data in your location.
International use
Core app data is stored locally on your device. If you email support, that message may be processed in locations where our email and support providers operate.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app changes. The updated date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last changed.
App Store privacy details
For App Store Connect, the current local MVP should be reviewed as an app that does not collect core app data from the user. Data entered in the app stays on the device. Voluntary support email is handled outside the app.
